PINEAPPLE MANGO MACA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Hello everyone! I love starting my day with a nutrient dense smoothie. It so much fun to experiment with different flavor combinations and textures. Having your smoothie in a bowl is a great opportunity to get even more healthy ingredients into your blend.

This smoothie bowl has a nice contrast of flavors. The pineapple and mango give it a tropical vibe with toasted, sweet & sour toppings and a slightly nutty flavor from the Maca.

MACA is an immune boosting superfood that is very nutrient dense. It's high in vitamins and minerals, enzymes, protein, essential fatty acids and B vitamins...including B12 which is especially beneficial for vegans. Maca may also help to bring balance to hormones for those suffering from PMS, hormonal skin issues or menopause.

I topped this smoothie bowl with toasted coconut chips, shredded unsweetened coconut, dried sour cherries and kiwi slices.
